SignatureRX wanted to provide an electronic private prescription service that allows telemedicine providers and clinicians to send paperless, secure and completely compliant prescriptions directly to any pharmacy, anywhere in the UK.
/02 THE DESIGN
We helped SignatureRX in building their brand new, private, e-prescription cloud software from scratch. The biggest challenge was to lay out the security of all the prescriptions that will be dispensed. We came up with the solution by enabling two-factor authentication to sign in for all the prescribers and have a unique signature with a validity of a three-day prescription. It helped in making SignatureRX a reliable platform for all the prescribers and pharmacies. Once dispensed, SignatureRX automatically updates the progress of a prescription in the system, disbarring it to be used again.
/03 THE SOFTWARE
The software we made for SignatureRX is feasible and easy to understand. It totally eliminates the need for paper prescriptions. By far this is the most genuine and secure electronic prescription system you can find. With such good service, the future of prescriptions seems comforting to us.
The paperless, secure private prescriptions use advanced electronic signatures as per regulations and all the medical data is pulled from Data, which is the UK's main database for pharmacy and healthcare products. It is a comprehensive source of information on medicines and drugs, including prices, ingredients, side effects, and interactions.
/04 OUTCOME
SignatureRX’s electronic prescribing will revolutionise how prescriptions are written and received as it provides greater security for confidential information by eliminating paper records and reducing delays in supplying medications. The process saves time and leaves no room for error.
